CANCELLED Hike/Snowshoe Blue Mountain

Meet and carpool from the North Viking Park and Ride at 7 am.
Hike and/or snowshoe the Deer Ridge Trail to Blue Mountain, elevation 6007 feet. Be prepared for up to 12 miles roundtrip and 3400 feet of elevation gain. Final destination and distance will depend on conditions the day of the outing.
Bring your 10 Essentials, traction devices (such as microspikes), and snowshoes. Trailhead elevation is 2600 feet. A NW Forest Pass or America the Beautiful Pass is required in each car. We will be crossing into Olympic National Park, so no pets are allowed. The WTA link below includes links to weather forecast and driving directions.
