Overnight Hike Fricaba Traverse

Overnight hike up the Dungeness River trail to Heather Creek, then take the Heather Creek trail to its end, then ascend the southeastern flanks of Fricaba to our camp. Sunday, we hike to Deception Basin, then to Royal Basin, pick up the Royal Basin Trail and loop back to our cars. This is about a 21-mile hike with 5300 foot of gain. Meeting at North Viking Way Transfer Station for car pooling.
