Visit a quieter trail in the Dungeness network – one that a lot of folks skip in favor of more well-known trails with more views. But Lower Gray Wolf is beautiful in its own right, and visitors here can discover it for themselves. https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/gray-wolf-river
This is an upside-down hike: we’ll descend to the river on the way out, then ascend on the return to the trailhead. 8.4 miles roundtrip, 1250 ft elevation gain. Bring your Ten Essentials, including warm layers. No parking pass is required. Leashed dogs welcome.
Meet at the Park & Ride at 8 am and we’ll carpool from there.
