Hike the Black and White Lake Loop Trail (Staircase, Near Flapjack Lake)

LATE HIKE: Since Obstruction Point Road is closed, we are changing the day hike to the Staircase area to Black and White Lakes (named after a cheap bottle of scotch). From Staircase we will hike to the Flapjack trail, then to the Black and White junction, then lunch at Black and White Lakes. We return on the Black and White Trail to the North Fork Trail (at Big Log Camp), and back to Staircase. Total mileage is 15.7 miles and 3400 feet of gain. Weather forecast is sunny and a high of 82F, but our gain is mostly in the morning. Water is plentiful, bring a headlamp (just in case, we should be back with plenty of daylight).
