Mt. Ellinor via Lower Trailhead

From the lower trailhead, you will enjoy a 6.2 mile round-trip with ~3,400 ft of elevation gain. The route starts in old growth areas then climbs with gentle switchbacks. There are several ridgeline openings that provides broad views across Lake Cushman and far to the southeast.
